Cascade Bicycle Club has announced a once in a lifetime ride where riders can ride across both Lake Washington Bridges as well as the I-5 express lane on Memorial day weekend.
Join us this Memorial Day weekend for the second year of our Emerald Bike Ride presented by Kaiser Permanente. This year’s route will literally be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, giving registered riders the opportunity to bike on the SR 520 bridge, I-5 Express Lanes AND NOW the I-90 Express Lanes. Choose from a 24-mile or 10-mile route option with views that can’t be beat and access to roads normally not available to people riding bicycles. This ride is intended to be accessible to everyone who enjoys riding a bicycle!cascade.org
The ride will be on May 28th, just one day before the 7 Hills of Kirkland ride. It looks like memorial day weekend is turning out to be THE weekend to ride a bike in Seattle.
Here is the planned map.
